Family dinner
A creamy tomato tuna pasta bake with sweetcorn, peas and a crisp Cheddar crumb - moist enough to reheat without becoming dry.

Clear and checked
Heat the oven to 200°C fan. Boil the pasta in water seasoned with 2 tsp salt for 2 minutes less than the packet time. Reserve 150ml pasta water, then drain.
Melt the butter in the saucepan. Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the warm milk, then simmer for 4 minutes until lightly thickened.
Whisk in passata, mustard, oregano, salt and pepper. Remove from the heat and stir in 150g Cheddar.
Fold in the drained tuna in large flakes, frozen sweetcorn, frozen peas and pasta. Add 50-100ml pasta water so the mixture is generously sauced.
Transfer to the baking dish. Mix the breadcrumbs, 50g Cheddar and olive oil, then scatter evenly over the top.
Bake on a tray for 20-25 minutes until bubbling and golden. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
